Hi Elise! Just wanted you to know that I stumbled across your blog while on Pintrest and am loving it! I have newly adopted a Vegetarian lifestyle after 10 years of maiking myself ill with terrible choices in food and prescription meds. During this time I have gained over 80lbs and suffered with moderate cyctic acne. I find your advice and insights refreshing and valuable. I only wish that I lived close enough to schedule an in person consultation! Thanks so much for this blog and know that there are real people like me out there in cyber-space that you are reaching and helping! Best Wishes, Dana Blaize 35, Ft. Myers, FL.

    Hi Elise!
I have been struggling with severe cystic acne for 6 years now. Covering my face, neck, chest, back…Its horrible. The worst part is, I am now covered in scars. I am saving up for a blender and going to try your method! I already drink lemon waters, I eat very little meat and processed food, I dont drink alcohol, Ive tried detox herbs, nothing seems to make more than a marginal difference so far.
I will be in touch after the holidays! Id like to schedule a consult. So happy I stumbled across your blog!
    ((( <3 )))
PS. I also started taking juice plus. Have you heard of it? What do you think?

    Hello Elise,

I just found your blog and I’m in love with all the information. I’m 25 years old and have struggled with acne sense I was 12 I’ve tried everything over the counter, had laser surgery, and also seen numerous dermatologists and all they do is prescribe me drugs that turn around and irratate my stubborn but sensitive skin. I over produce oil like crazy I have to blot my face numerous times a day. I noticed that once I cut out cows milk my skin was better but I still breakout ridiculously. I don’t drink soda or cows milk I’m generally very healthy. I recently went to the derm becuz my skin broke out with flesh tone bumps all over that itched so bad and the derm gave me orecea. I haven’t seen any improvement so I’m going to try ur reciepes I don’t want the derm to resort to Accutane for I’m suppose to see him in a month. How long does it take ur body to start showing improvement with ur diet suggestions? I don’t eat out and I do my own smoothies but maybe I’m just not adding the right ingredients. I really want something to work for me wish me luck

Hi Ashley, I’m glad you found me! I’m glad to hear you’ve turned to exploring the internal factors of acne – those are the most powerful in clearing up skin. I will say that it took me about two years before I discovered everything that was really breaking me out. Even when I thought I was eating healthy, I was still doing things to break myself out. For that reason, a consultation is an extremely good idea to save yourself the time and headache of trying to figure it out. A good nutritionist can fill in those gaps and put together the missing puzzle pieces. Chances are you’re drinking fabulous smoothies, it’s probably just something hidden in your diet or some emotional factors. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to dive into this more together – I’d be happy to help! :)

    Hi Elise,

I just came across your blog while searching for information on both nutrition and holistic approaches to skin care. I am a recently licensed esthetician who has suffered from acne as well as other skin rashes for most of my life. After attending esthetics school I thought for sure I would learn how to clear my skin up and help others to do the same. Unfortunatley, that did not happen and I have been too embarrased to work with clients because my skin is just not in good enough condition and I would think my clients would not trust me to help them. My first and only job left me with red burning rashes on my hands daily from working with irritating chemicals and skin care lines. So for the past 8 months I have been diligently researching different diets and allergies to foods which may be causing my problems. It is finally starting to make a difference! :) I just wanted to say I love what you are about and you are a new role model for me.

Wow Jilly, what a blessing of a message! Thanks so much for sharing! Many of my fellow esthetic peers also left with bad skin. Skin care products are not the end all be all – it is what you eat and how you feel that makes ALL the difference. Kudos to you for fighting for healthy skin! It sounds like you’re on a great path :)

Hello Webmaster, as an avid reader of .Theskinnutritionist.net, I wanted to drop you line and just compliment your site. Nice layout, good info, good resource. I was looking around at a few different sites for reality information and I definitely thought yours was one of the best.

It’s great that you have informative content on your resource, but I think you can tie it all together by blogging on “Effects of Drug Abuse on the Skin”.

I know you are probably busy and won’t blog on it, so I’m going to make you an offer you can’t refuse. How about I write it for you? Don’t worry, I’m a great blogger and have had my posts featured on various platforms.

Let me know if you are interested. I already know your blogging style, plus I understand what your readers love… as I am one.

Look forward to hearing from you,

    Emily Syane
